In light of September 11th two days ago, I feel inclined to comment on the many testimonials that emerged following the attacks, from the loved ones of victims, especially those who described having feelings of "foreboding" prior to, during and after the attacks (before they knew, that is)
People on the other side of the country saying they "knew" when their sons/daughters/husbands/wives/siblings/etc were in grave danger, pain or deceased.
It's a total crock of shit.
Most people will experience some days/hours of completely unfounded ominous feelings, as little as for 7 times a year. A week of days that you felt unsettled or full of dread. That's a 52:1 chance of having a day that affects you like that.
Out of the hundreds of thousands of people that were familiar with victims, many of them were bound to be due for a foreboding day on the maybe working week or so leading up to the attacks.
ESP = crock-o-shit.
