The whole typing in brackets (like this [and this]) because sometimes I like to make annotations. So shoot me.
And in IMs
taking a new
line to write
things like this sometimes
I don't know why
I've done it
but
isn't it just
more
suspenseful?

It does make things suspenseful, and the brackets (although sometimes very long [and occasionally hard to realise where they end]) are necessary for a good description.
